Final boss seemed...bugged. Had one of the small notes first bloat to a massive size and block two spots. Then just disappear. But as far as i could tell it was still there and attacking.

Overall fun little game though.

The duelist type character is really really strong though. As long as you keep upgrading it, to get it maxed ASAP, and run two of them. You always get to one/two-shot before the enemy gets to do anything. Since you don't have anything else to spend money on with them maxed. By just using the screen wide attack, it instantly pays for itself from the kill gold. So it becomes pretty silly at that point, since you have no decision tree. But rather just click that button twice and win.

Oof sorry about that final boss bug I've never had that happen before, I'll try to fix it after the jam. Also yeah I realised how overpowered that guy was only when it was too late to nerf him lol.

My take is always "if the balance is the issue, it's a good jam game". In bad jam games, you don't even care about the balance. Cause if the gameplay loop is "regular jam tier", then balance doesn't get to become relevant. Balancing takes time, jam games don't have time. So it kind of is what it is.

Cool concept and execution! For some reason, I wasn't able to use the bought inventory.

You can use items at the same time in battle where you can rearrange players

Got it! Mention this in the tutorial after the jam is over ðŸ˜‚

Also, I wasn't sure "1st player" and "3rd player" was a good identifier. I read that in relation to the direction of attack. Maybe "leftmost, middle, rightmost" would be better.

surprisingly really really good!

you got something here if you stick to it it was a fun gameplay loop. i love the briefcase because it seems like free money at first until you realize you're reducing the money you can spend in the shop and the amount of money you'll have on the first turn. really cool ideas

This is a really unique game! I've never seen anything like it. Good job!
